Staff Training
The practice will be closed on Wednesday 13 November from 1pm for essential staff training.
If during these times you request urgent medical assistance that cannot wait until the surgery reopens, please contact the NHS 111 Service by dialling 111 or visiting NHS 111 online.
For life-threatening emergencies, dial 999 immediately.
Additionally, Klinik, our online platform for contacting the surgery, will be inactive from 12:30 Wednesday 13 until 08:00 on Thursday 14.
Important: Important Patient Information
Dear Patient,
You may have seen recent news reports about GP contracts, underfunding and appointment availability being reduced. We understand that this may cause concern to our patients
We want to reassure you that we are committed to maintaining our current appointment capacity. Our priority is to continue providing high-quality healthcare to all our patients.
You can continue to access our services in the same way as you always have. We prioritise your health and wellbeing and will always do our best to meet your needs.
We do support the BMA’s concerns about the funding of general practice. The BMA, which represents doctors, has highlighted that GP surgeries have been underfunded for many years. This has led to challenges in hiring staff, buying necessary equipment, and providing the level of care we would like to. Despite these difficulties, we are committed to providing you with the best possible care.
We want to reiterate that there will be no changes to our current service provision and we will not be reducing any appointment capacity at the practice.
Thank you for your continued trust and support.
Best regards,
Dr Nicola Turner, Dr Katherine Yeomans, Ruth Franklin, Dr Jasraj Panesar

Tell us how we did in our Friends and Family Test
We want you to have the best possible experience of care. The NHS Friends and Family Test is a way of gathering your feedback, so we can continually review our service.
Your feedback will help us learn more about what you think of your experience – what you like and what you think we could improve. Ultimately, you are helping us to make changes that will ensure we can offer the best possible care.

Thanks for your support with the parking
It’s been a couple of weeks since our new designated parking bays were painted purple for those of you needing to park directly outside The Hall Practice building for appointments. So far so good so thanks everyone!
Parking bays around The Allan Practice (Calcot Medical Centre building) now have ANPR cameras which means you may receive a fine if you park in their bays.
There's 1-hour free parking available across the road at Chalfont and Gerrards Cross Hospital but just remember to double check you're not parking in a marked staff bay near the entrance to the hospital car park. These are for the hardworking community and hospital staff who need access to them throughout the day. Read more practice updates in our June Patient Newsletter.
