Non-urgent advice: Our Vision

The Hall Practice vision is to provide the best possible care that we can for our patients by delivering safe and high-quality person-centred services.

Our vision is underpinned by the values of our Practice, the 4 P’s:

Person-Centred Care

Personal Responsibility

Pride in our Team

Passion for Excellence

Only 5% of GP Practices are rated as ‘Outstanding’. As a CQC ‘Outstanding’ practice we combine clinical expertise with genuine patient-centred care. This ‘Outstanding’ rating indicates exeptional perfomance across all five key areas: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-Led. Practices achieving this rating demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care, strong staff relationships, innovative approaches, and continuous learning.

Non-urgent advice: Our practice is proud to be a Safe Surgery

We are committed to making healthcare accessible to everyone in our community, regardless of their immigration status, lack of ID, proof of address, or language barriers. As a Safe Surgery, we follow guidelines that ensure no one is turned away or excluded from registering with us, especially migrants and people in vulnerable situations. This commitment helps us provide a welcoming and inclusive environment where all patients can access the care they need without fear or discrimination. We also receive support and training to better understand and overcome the challenges faced by these groups, ensuring our staff are equipped to offer respectful and effective care. Being a Safe Surgery reflects our dedication to health equality and the NHS principle that healthcare is a right for all

Non-urgent advice: Creating a safe and inclusive space for everyone

At our practice, everyone is welcome and respected, no matter how they identify their gender or sex. We are committed to being a safe and supportive space for all our patients, where you can feel comfortable and confident that your identity will be honoured. We understand the importance of inclusivity and kindness, and we strive to provide care that respects each person’s individuality. Our approach is in line with the values of the LGBTQIA+ community, and we are here to listen, support, and provide the best possible healthcare for everyone.

Non-urgent advice: Veteran Friendly GP Practice: Supporting Those Who Served

Our practice is proud to be a Veteran Friendly GP Practice, which means we are dedicated to understanding and meeting the unique health needs of veterans and their families. We provide a supportive and respectful environment where veterans can access healthcare tailored to their experiences, including physical and mental health support related to service. Our staff are trained to recognise the challenges veterans may face and to offer appropriate care and advice. Being veteran friendly means we work closely with local and national veteran organisations to ensure our patients receive the best possible support, helping them to stay healthy and well in civilian life.

Non-urgent advice: Gambling Aware Accreditation

Our practice is proud to have Gambling Aware accreditation, thanks to Dr Turner completing specialised training in this important area. This means we are better equipped to recognise and support patients who may be experiencing problems with gambling. We understand that gambling can affect people’s health and well being, and we are committed to providing a safe and non-judgemental space where patients can talk about their concerns. Being Gambling Aware helps us offer the right advice, support, and referrals to those who need it, so we can help improve the lives of our patients and their families.
